When vitamins, minerals, and other nutrients are infused intravenously (IV), or directly into the bloodstream, they bypass the potential loss of potency and poor absorption in the gastrointestinal (GI) tract characteristic of oral nutrients. This makes IV administration a powerful, yet overlooked treatment such as our “wellness drip,” which provides a wide range of vitamins and minerals, a, therapy for numerous health concerns, ranging from addiction and viral infections. IV therapies also effective at boosting nutritional status and preventing illness in healthy individuals.

The IV department at our private drug rehab The Holistic Sanctuary, which is overseen by our physicians, registered nurses, and nursing assistants, is nothing like a hospital facility, where most IVs are given. Rather, it is a large, pleasant room, full of comfortable recliners where patients sit during luxury rehab treatments and read, chat with other patients, nap, or simply relax.

Individual drug rehab treatments last half an hour to three hours, depending on the specific protocol being administered, and a complete rehab treatment course usually consists of multiple IV sessions. For this reason, most patients who don’t live locally enroll in our Phase II.
