How Our Review Process Works

Every treatment page, clinical FAQ, and educational post published on Holistic Sanctuary passes through a documented review workflow before it is published or updated. Clinical drafts are prepared by staff and integrative-medicine writers, then reviewed by Dr. Jimenez for factual accuracy, appropriate scope of claim, and alignment with current peer-reviewed literature and internal clinical protocols. Pages describing physician-supervised interventions — including ibogaine treatment and ayahuasca ceremonies — receive additional review for safety, screening, and contraindication language.

Pages are versioned and re-dated whenever material safety information changes, whenever new peer-reviewed evidence is incorporated, or whenever internal protocols are updated. This is why treatment pages on this site carry a visible “Last updated” and “Last medically reviewed” date, along with a byline linking back to this page.

Scope of Practice and Boundaries

The Medical Review Board oversees the accuracy of content within the scope Holistic Sanctuary actually practices: integrative medicine, physician-supervised plant medicine ceremonies, regenerative infusions, and holistic detox protocols.
